1. Your consent
By checking the electronic-consent box and completing assigned fields, you consent to conduct that transaction electronically and intend your entered full name, initials, date, and signing action to be associated with the document. You are not required to sign electronically merely because a document appears in Homora.
Your consent applies to the specific document or workflow shown when you sign. Agreeing to one electronic transaction does not require you to conduct every future transaction electronically.
2. Records covered
Electronic records may include leases, renewals, addenda, disclosures, notices, inspection records, signing certificates, receipts, messages, and related transaction history. The parties remain responsible for determining whether a particular record can legally be delivered or signed electronically.
3. Hardware and software requirements
To access, retain, and sign records electronically, you need:
- A current internet-connected phone, tablet, or computer.
- A modern browser with JavaScript, secure cookies, and TLS connections enabled.
- Access to the email address associated with your Homora account.
- Software capable of viewing and saving PDF files.
- Enough storage or printer access to retain a copy.
If these requirements change in a way that creates a material risk you cannot access records, Homora will provide an updated notice when required.
4. Accessing and keeping copies
Homora preserves the original uploaded PDF and creates a separate completed copy with a signing record. You can open or download documents made available in your lease workspace. Save or print copies for your records. You may also ask the other party for a paper copy; that party may charge only a lawful, previously disclosed fee.
5. Withdrawing consent
Before signing, you may decline electronic signing and ask the other party to arrange another lawful method. You may withdraw consent for future records by notifying the other party through Homora Messages and emailing support@homora.app. Withdrawal does not invalidate electronic records or signatures completed before the withdrawal takes effect and may delay or prevent completion of a transaction if no alternative method is available.
6. How Homora records signing
Homora requires an authenticated account, displays the document, identifies assigned fields, asks for consent, and records completed fields. Homora may retain the account identifier, signer role, email, legal name, signing time, consent text, document events, and cryptographic fingerprints of the original and completed files.
You must review the entire document before signing. Do not sign if information is incomplete or incorrect. Use “Request changes” or contact the other party before completing the signing process.
7. Legal limits and exceptions
Federal and state law generally recognize electronic records and signatures, but electronic form alone does not make an otherwise invalid agreement enforceable. Certain records may be excluded or may require special formalities, delivery methods, witnesses, acknowledgment, or notarization.
For reference, review the federal Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act and Florida’s Uniform Electronic Transaction Act.
8. Contact information
Keep your account email current in Settings. For questions about electronic delivery or accessibility, email support@homora.app. Questions about the legal effect of a document should be directed to a qualified attorney.
