1. Scope
This Privacy Policy describes how Homora collects, uses, discloses, and retains information when you use homora.app, create an account, manage a rental relationship, share documents, submit maintenance or inspection records, or communicate through Homora.
Landlords and tenants may also have their own legal obligations. When a landlord decides why and how tenant information will be used outside Homora, that landlord is responsible for those independent practices.
2. Information we collect
Information you provide
- Account details, including your name, email address, role, and notification preferences.
- Property, unit, tenancy, lease, rent-ledger, and rental-listing information.
- Documents, electronic-signature details, signing events, and document fingerprints.

- Rental application and tour-request details, including requested dates, times, contact details, and other information you choose to share.
Information collected automatically
Homora receives basic device, browser, IP address, request, security, cookie, and session information needed to operate, protect, and troubleshoot the service. Homora currently uses essential authentication and session cookies and does not use third-party advertising cookies.
Payment information
Homora currently records charges and offline payment entries but does not process real rent funds. Homora does not ask users to store raw bank-account or payment-card numbers in the platform.
3. How we use information
- Provide account access and role-specific landlord or tenant workspaces.
- Connect authorized people to the correct property, unit, tenancy, lease, message, repair, inspection, and document records.

- Improve reliability, accessibility, customer support, and product features.
- Comply with law, enforce Homora’s Terms, and protect users and the public.
5. Retention and account deletion
Homora keeps information for as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, maintain security and audit trails, resolve disputes, comply with legal obligations, and preserve shared rental history. Retention periods vary by record type and the parties’ legal responsibilities.
You may permanently delete your Homora account from Settings. Homora removes your sign-in access and personal account details. Shared leases, signatures, ledger entries, maintenance records, inspections, and related history may remain in anonymized form when another connected person has a legitimate need for the record or retention is required by law.

- Download documents and receipts made available to you.
- Delete your account from Account Settings.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of personal information, or to appeal a privacy decision. Homora will verify requests before acting on them.
7. Security
Homora uses authentication, encrypted connections, role-based access rules, restricted database policies, and service-provider safeguards designed to protect information. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. Keep your password private, use a unique password, and notify Homora if you believe your account has been compromised.
8. Children
Homora is for adults managing rental housing and is not directed to children. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. Homora does not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. If you believe a child provided information, contact privacy@homora.app.
